A gifting portal in your company's name

One gift for three thousand people is always a compromise. A portal removes it: you fix the budget, we curate what fits, and each employee chooses the thing they actually want.

What the portal is

It is a white-label storefront that runs under your brand - your logo, your colours, and your domain if you want one. Employees sign in, see only the products you have approved at the budget you have set, pick one, confirm their own delivery address, and that is the end of their involvement.

Behind it, Bytelabs holds the stock, brands the pieces, packs each order and ships it. You get one consolidated invoice and a live view of who has redeemed and who has not, instead of a spreadsheet that goes stale the day it is circulated.

How it works

Set up once, then it runs on its own for each occasion.

You set the rules

Budget per head, which employee groups get what, the redemption window, and whether delivery is to office or home.

We build and brand it

Your logo and colours, your product shortlist, your welcome message. Employees reach it by a link and a code, or by single sign-on.

Employees choose

Each person picks one gift inside their budget and confirms their address. No coordinator collects anything.

We ship and report

Orders are branded, packed and dispatched as they come in. You see redemption live and get one GST invoice at the end.

What it removes

Every one of these is somebody's week, every festive round.

Collecting addresses

The employee enters their own, which is the only version that is ever correct.

The one-size-fits-nobody problem

A curated set at one budget covers a mixed workforce without running several orders.

"Mine didn't arrive"

Each employee has their own order and tracking, so the query goes to the portal rather than to HR.

Reconciliation

Redemption is visible as it happens. Unredeemed budget is known before the window closes, not after.

Repeat setup

The next occasion reuses the same portal - change the budget, the product set and the window, and reopen it.

Procurement rounds

Recognition and milestone gifts can be triggered against a standing catalogue instead of a fresh purchase each time.

Who it suits

The portal earns its keep somewhere above a couple of hundred employees, or wherever people are spread across enough locations that a single delivery address stops being realistic. Below that, a straightforward bulk order is usually simpler and cheaper.

It also suits companies running gifting more than once a year. The setup cost is paid once, and every occasion after that is a configuration change rather than a project.

Questions we get asked

Yes - logo, colours, and your welcome copy. It can run on a subdomain of your own domain so employees never see a third-party name.

Either a unique link and code issued per employee, or single sign-on against your identity provider where your IT team prefers that.

Yes. Budgets and product sets can be assigned per group - by grade, location, tenure or any list you supply.

You see who has not, and can extend the window, send a reminder, or have a default gift shipped automatically. Unredeemed budget is not invoiced.

Setup is quoted against the size and the level of customisation. For a recurring programme it is usually absorbed into the per-piece rate.

Only what a delivery needs - name, contact and address - held for the programme and removed on request. We do not use it for anything else.
